Corentin, WHAT WAS YOUR PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE?
Graduating ISA in Lille, engineering school specialized in agriculture, agri-food, environment and finance, I was on work-study contract at Caisse d’Epargne. To further grow my professional competences, I took Master’s course in Project management at SKEMA business school, and fully joined G’IMPACTE after my graduation.
WHAT WAS THE MAIN REASON TO JOIN G’IMPACTE ?
I come from countryside, probably this explains best why I am so sensitive to environmental topics. At G’IMPACTE I found the same willingness to act responsibly in each of the three dimensions: environmental, social, and economic.
Being objective is how I perceive things, like in science, first we observe and then we affirm. At G’IMPACTE I found out that we can prove increased economic performance when we include two other dimensions.
WHAT IS YOUR MISSION AT G’IMPACTE ?
I am project leader and I work on Oxelo, Aptonia and Fouganza product improvement projects, but also with several Decathlon stores in Lille agglomeration: Bailleul, City Lille, Roubaix factory, Villeneuve d’Ascq and BTWIN. Other than Decathlon, I am involved in projects of Kéolis Lille Métropole, Catholic University of Lille, Leroy Merlin and AFM group foundations common project in Bangladesh.
I mentor new G’IMPACTE teammates and train them how to use this approach.
CAN YOU GIVE AN EXAMPLE OF ONE OF YOUR PROJECTS ?
Other than the diagnostics, we organize collaborative workshops where we unite stakeholders to share and later work for common goals. Following our latest inclusivity assessment at Decathlon, we brought together various stakeholders of Lille metropolis who works for better inclusivity in the city. We brainstormed on topics such as education, employment, integration, well-being and isolation. Peer companies, city councils, associations and other organizations were part of this collaborative workshop – 50 different entities agreed to work together for new common inclusivity projects.
WHAT ARE YOU THE MOST PROUD OF AT G’IMPACTE ?
Working on Keolis project is an enriching experience as for the first time we step out of the AFM group perimeter.
WHAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT FOR YOU IN G’IMPACTE PROJECT?
First, it is the human aspect. We are a great team where each member complements and helps each other. We inspire and we get inspired.
Next, it is the richness of my missions. I get never bored, I work on variety of subjects and I learn a lot every day.
Then, it is curiosity. I do not know another job where one can deploy this incredible opportunity of open-mindedness towards the world. As I meet many people in my work projects, I learn from them and get inspired.
All these elements is what makes my daily work meaningful.
CONCLUDING REMARKS ?
G’IMPACTE is a consulting firm which facilitates transformation. Our motto : “Anchored in presence, we face the future”.
G’IMPACTE offers a new approach based on the proof. For example, we can prove that it is possible to change existing economic models. Our approach is biodegradable as we do not aim to stay in organizations forever. Our challenge is to succeed in changing people’s mentality so that it becomes a norm.
